Editorial objective
BCM.Center publishes original practitioner guidance intended to solve real business-continuity questions. Content should explain the operational consequence of a decision and give readers a method, checklist, example or evidence path they can use.
Source hierarchy
For formal requirements and publication status, primary sources are preferred: ISO publication pages, regulators, legislation and authoritative technical documentation. Secondary material can provide context but should not replace a primary source when the requirement itself matters.
ISO and copyrighted material
ISO standards are copyrighted. BCM.Center does not reproduce full standards or clause text. Articles paraphrase concepts, explain practitioner implications and link to official ISO pages. Draft standards are labelled as drafts and are not presented as current published requirements.
Claims and examples
Examples are illustrative unless a source is cited. The site avoids invented customer claims, fake statistics, testimonials, certification claims and universal recovery benchmarks. Organizations should determine recovery requirements from their own impact, obligations and context.
AI assistance
AI tools may support research organization, drafting or consistency checking, but AI output is not treated as an authoritative source. Current standards and external requirements should be checked against authoritative sources, and editorial responsibility remains human.
Advertising independence
Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions or product recommendations. Legal, policy and commercial domain pages are kept ad-free. Product-oriented articles are written as buyer requirements and evaluation frameworks rather than paid endorsements unless sponsorship is explicitly disclosed.
Corrections
Readers can report suspected errors through the contact page. Corrections are evaluated against evidence and material changes are updated through the publishing workflow.
